Recently, three customized rotary drilling rigs from Jiangsu TYSIM Piling Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TYSIM") — KR220, KR165 and KR125 — have become a key force in deepening cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in infrastructure construction, thanks to their excellent performance. They provide key support for the efficient construction of projects. Uzbekistan's Islam Street Underpass Tunnel Project, a key project to improve the country's urban transportation layout, has attracted wide attention since it started.

Complex Geology Easily Overcome, Construction Efficiency Up
The geological conditions in the project's construction area are complex, posing great challenges to pile foundation construction. From the surface down, the 0-1 meter layer is a cement-hardened road surface and sand-gravel backfill, which is hard yet loosely structured, putting a big test on the equipment's rock penetration and drilling abilities. The 1-5 meter layer is silty clay, with high viscosity, which easily clogs the drill bit. The 5-7 meter layer is coarse sand, with poor stability, making hole collapse very likely. The 7-28 meter layer is clayey mud, thick and sticky, leading to high drilling resistance and making it hard to ensure efficiency.
The three rotary drilling rigs developed by TYSIM — KR220, KR165 and KR125 — have shown excellent performance. KR220 has strong torque output and drilling power. In the construction of the 7-17 meter clayey mud layer, it can easily overcome the resistance from the sticky soil, ensuring hole-forming efficiency and quality. KR165, with its precise control and stable operating performance, effectively prevents hole collapse in the construction of the 5-7 meter coarse sand layer by optimizing mud ratio and drilling parameters, ensuring continuous construction. KR125, targeting the complex surface layer of 0-5 meters, quickly breaks the cement-hardened road surface and handles the sand-gravel backfill layer and silty clay layer.
