On December 3, 2025, TYSIM Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TYSIM”) held a brief yet significant rollout and delivery ceremony at its Changzhou manufacturing base, marking the official launch and handover of the newly developed KR200D rock-entry drilling rig dedicated to power grid construction. As a national-level “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative Little Giant” enterprise that has been deeply engaged in mechanized power grid construction for six years, Taixin Machinery has integrated more than 60 patented technologies and thousands of hours of on-site validation into the KR200D. The product successfully addresses the long-standing industry dilemma of “large rigs cannot access the site, while small rigs lack the required capacity,” injecting fresh momentum into electric power infrastructure development.

The KR200D is a newly upgraded, heavy-duty, integrated drilling rig capable of transporting drill rods as a complete unit, purpose-built for hard-rock entry in power grid construction. Its robust performance parameters are precisely aligned with core application needs. In terms of drilling capability, the rig offers multiple mast configurations, allowing flexible adjustment of working height and enabling efficient operation in low-clearance environments. With a standard drilling depth of 30 meters, it meets the foundation construction requirements of UHV transmission towers of 500kv and above. By applying combined drilling methods, it can achieve a large bore diameter of up to 3.6 meters. Its powerful output delivers stable and reliable performance in mountainous areas and complex hard-rock formations.In smart control technology, the KR200D sets a new benchmark among products of its class. The fully electronic intelligent control system enables remote operation, while the 10-inch HD display provides real-time monitoring of key drilling parameters.

Safety protection and construction efficiency stand out as key competitive advantages of the KR200D. A 360° panoramic monitoring system covers the main winch, all sides of the machine body, and the top view, effectively eliminating blind spots during operation. The ultra-high torque of 200 kN·m enhances rock-entry efficiency by 35% compared with the previous generation. Its strong tractive performance enables effortless climbing on 30-degree slopes. The machine’s ability to transport with drill rods installed significantly improves mobility, reducing time and cost associated with frequent relocations—an ideal fit for multi-tower foundation construction in power grid projects.
