This project, highly prioritized by the Kazakhstani local government as the "No.1 Livelihood Project," aims to resolve the long-standing hardship faced by local residents who have been forced to detour nearly 100 kilometers due to a bridge destroyed by floods. TYSIM Technology Overcomes Pile Foundation Construction Challenges
The project faced complex and harsh geological challenges: efficient and high-quality completion of 1500mm diameter, 31-meter-deep bridge pile foundations in an extreme "upper-soft and lower-hard" stratum (11-meter loose backfill layer, 10-meter highly mobile sand and quicksand layer, 8-meter soft-plastic mud layer, with a 2-meter-thick hard sandstone layer at the bottom). Traditional construction methods under such complex conditions are highly prone to causing severe problems like hole collapse and diameter reduction. Facing these demanding conditions, TYSIM RENTAL, leveraging the strong technical R&D foundation and equipment guarantee capabilities of its parent company TYSIM, formulated a scientific and rigorous construction plan. The project successfully utilized high-performance Caterpillar chassis rotary drilling rigs developed and manufactured by TYSIM and innovatively employed the full-casing drilling technology using a 13.5-meter ultra-long casing pipe combined with a vibratory hammer. This advanced process, supported by TYSIM's technical system, effectively penetrated the thick quicksand layer. Perfectly solved the hole wall stability challenge, and ensured borehole accuracy, construction safety, and final pile foundation quality, laying the most solid foundation for the smooth progress of the entire bridge project. The efficient implementation of the project fully demonstrated the exceptional adaptability and reliability of TYSIM's products in tackling complex geological formations worldwide.
