The General Election Meeting and 10th Anniversary Celebration of Wuxi Cross-Border E-Commerce SME Chamber of Commerce concluded successfully at Inter Continental Wuxi by IHG on September 12, 2025. Xin Peng, Chairman of TYSIM Piling Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TYSIM"), was officially elected as the new President of the Chamber via anonymous voting, by virtue of his profound experience in cross-border manufacturing and a solid reputation for years of collaborative market development with chamber members. His election not only marks TYSIM’s role as an industry leader in advancing industrial integration, but also ushers in a new journey of in-depth collaboration and mutual growth between TYSIM, the Chamber and its member units.
This meeting strictly followed the agenda of the 1st Session of the 3rd Membership Assembly of the Chamber and proceeded in an orderly manner through three phases: the Membership Assembly, the new Council Meeting, and the resumed Membership Assembly. After the meeting officially commenced at 15:00, all participants sang the National Anthem. They then heard the work report on the preparation for the general election, the 10-year development summary report delivered by the outgoing President Zhang Xiaodong, as well as the financial work report of the previous Council and the work report of the supervisors. Following deliberation by representatives of all member units, the meeting voted to adopt the newly revised Articles of Association of the Chamber, the general election rules, and the Standards and Management Measures for Membership Dues, laying an institutional foundation for the Chamber’s standardized development.
During the core election phase, the meeting first elected new members of the Council and supervisors via anonymous voting. Subsequently, the first meeting of the new Council was convened to determine the standing members of the Council and the candidate for Secretary-General. Finally, during the resumed session of the Membership Assembly, Xin Peng was unanimously elected as the Chamber’s President and received the appointment certificate. The entire election process was open and transparent throughout, fully demonstrating the high recognition of Xin Peng and TYSIM by the Chamber’s member units.
As an entrepreneur deeply engaged in the pile driving sector of the construction machinery industry for years, Xin Peng has led TYSIM in building a "manufacturing + cross-border" model, providing the industry with a replicable model for going global. In recent years, under his leadership, TYSIM has successfully exported its products to over 60 countries and regions overseas, accumulating rich practical experience for the cross-border development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
After his election, Xin Peng delivered a speech. He expressed gratitude to the attending leaders, guests, and those who support the Chamber, and paid special tribute to the previous Council (including Song Huajiang and Zhang Xiaodong). He stated that he is honored to have the trust of the members and fully aware of his responsibility, and will undertake the mission together with the new Council. Xin Peng pointed out that Wuxi has an excellent foundation for cross-border e-commerce development, and the Chamber has achieved remarkable results in the past. Currently, the industry faces both opportunities and challenges; the new Council will focus on the purpose of "Serving Members, Regulating the Industry, and Promoting Development" to advance five key tasks: 1. Precise services: Conduct training on operational compliance and connect with the industrial chain; 2. Resource aggregation: Link up with governments, enterprises, universities and research institutions to secure policies and financing; 3. Resource integration: Jointly build overseas warehouses to reduce costs and improve efficiency; 4. Innovation promotion: Guide digital transformation and organize overseas inspections; 5. Strengthening internal development: Improve mechanisms to build a "Home for Members, Learning and Progress". Finally, Xin Peng appealed to members to participate in the Chamber’s development and work together to expand markets. He expressed confidence that with support from all parties, the Chamber will contribute to the high-quality development of Wuxi’s foreign trade, and wished the meeting a success.
"Just as TYSIM’s small and medium-sized rotary drilling rigs can collaborate with construction teams to tackle complex geological conditions, so too should the Chamber become a ‘collaborative equipment’ for TYSIM and member units to jointly navigate international trade barriers." Xin Peng used the collaboration concept in the construction machinery sector to analogize the Chamber’s development—this not only highlights the pragmatic nature of manufacturing enterprises, but also clarifies the core concept of "mutual growth". After this election, TYSIM will further deepen collaboration with Chamber members: from sharing experience in overseas localization development to jointly addressing international trade risks, it will work with the Chamber and member units to write a new chapter in the high-quality development of Wuxi’s cross-border e-commerce industry.
